Management Couple Based: Krugersdorp The Management Couple will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Leadership’s Academy Venue based at Krugersdorp. Venue Manager: Reports to: CEO Key Performance Areas: • Manages the venue staff – all line function related matters including induction, formal and informal performance reviews and day-to-day management • Manages staff rosters • Venue management – deals with minor handyman issues or calls in the necessary service providers, gardening, maintenance of property, maintains all equipment • Quality control of all hospitality related functions • Procurement of food • Acts as host to visitors to the Academy Venue • Responds to emergency situations • Financial Management – submits requests for payments to Central Office • Responsible for Health and Safety Cook: Reports to: Venue Manager Key Performance Areas: • Management of food supplies • Manages weekly menus • Prepares all meals • Bakes birthday cakes when a birthday is being celebrated at the Academy • Oversees meal service • Ensures tea/coffee/snack stations are refreshed • Oversees all housekeeping functions – cleaning, laundry, etc. Minimum Education, Experience and Competencies: • Minimum 2 – 3 years working experience in venue management • First Aid Level 1 • Valid Driver’s Licence essential • Staff management experience • Food experience • Computer literacy essential • Hosting experience • Good administration skills/attention to detail • Good general maintenance skills and experience (for him) • Relates well with young people • Proficient in written and verbal English – with excellent oral and written communication • Good interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player • Planning skills Required Guiding Qualifications: • FGASA Level 1 Minimum (NQF Level 2) • Public Driver’s Permit Salary negotiable based on experience. Includes accommodation and meals.
